Between 2016 and 2018, inclusive education activities in Liberia had resumed after the suspension due to the Ebola outbreak in the fall of 2014. Humanity & Inclusion has ceased its activities since 2018.

HI is working in Burundi through the Making It Work - Gender and Disability project. This project aims at eliminating discrimination and violence against women and girls with disabilities, by supporting them in advocating for their rights.

HI has had a strong presence in India for three decades and has implemented several health, prevention and rehabilitation projects to mainstream disability into the public health system. Nowadays, the organization supports civil society organizations to promote social and economic inclusion and advocate for equal opportunities and participation of people with disabilities, especially in employment.

In Kyrgyzstan, Humanity & Inclusion helped people with disabilities to become financially self-sufficient. The association also developed the skills of disabled people's organisations to advocate for their rights. Humanity & Inclusion has ended its actions in the country.

People with disabilities suffer from high levels of discrimination in East Timor which has now been an independent country for two decades. Humanity & Inclusion worked in the country to champion the rights of people with disabilities and to promote their inclusive employment, among other activities. Since 2017, East Timor has been included in a regional programme with the Philippines and Indonesia but Humanity & Inclusion currently has no projects in the country.

In Haiti, HI runs health, inclusion and prevention projects to support the population in coping with the country's acute multisectoral crisis.

HI started activities in Somaliland in 1992 by setting up a rehabilitation centre in Hargeisa. HI’s strategy in Somaliland is to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities and to engage development actors in promoting inclusion and participation of people with disabilities at local and national levels.

HI is working in Egypt to improve the daily lives of people with disabilities and champion their rights. HI teams have been implementing various activities to promote access to inclusive and adapted services for people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, with a specific focus on women and girls with disabilities.

2025 marks the third year of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen, with 12.7 million people in need of assistance according to the humanitarian needs response plan. The intensification of attacks on essential infrastructure has made life increasingly difficult for millions of Ukrainians, and the number of civilian casualties continues to rise.

Thailand hosts large numbers of refugees from Myanmar. HI works in the refugee camps, providing services to landmines victims and people with disabilities, improving the living conditions and promoting the inclusion of vulnerable people and people with disabilities in their communities and providing risk education awareness to the refugees.

Since 2011, HI Tunisia has been developing actions to ensure that disability rights are incorporated into the democratic transition process.  

HI’s programme in the Central African Republic supports humanitarian organisations by providing logistical solutions to improve the storage and distribution of humanitarian aid. The programme also supports physical rehabilitation centres in the country and implements inclusion and armed violence reduction projects. 

HI has been operational continuously in Libya since 2011, and up until the end of 2014 delivered large-scale Humanitarian Mine Action. Today, HI works to protect vulnerable groups from the dangers of explosive remnants of war and small arms and light weapons through risk education messaging.
