To mark World Cerebral Palsy Day on 6th October, Humanity & Inclusion highlights the importance of providing care and treatment to children born with this life-long condition.

HI has mobilised its teams to help people affected by the earthquake that struck Haiti on 14th August. The organisation has already transported tonnes of material to support the most affected families.

Over 1 million people are facing severe food insecurity in southern Madagascar. Humanity & Inclusion's teams are supporting families and malnourished children at risk. More than 1,000 households have already been supported.

After being injured when their home collapsed, Stephanie and her aunt Valerie received mobility aids and are learning rehabilitation exercises from Humanity & Inclusion physical therapists.

One month after an earthquake wreaked havoc in southwest Haiti, humanitarian needs remain immense. The disaster caused over 2,000 deaths and left 650,000 people in need of vital support.

As a young girl, Soni was forced to drop out of education as there was no support in her school for children with hearing impairments. But, today she is back in school and progressing fast. HI and its partners in Nepal  have helped 1,500 adolescent girls with disabilities to go back to school since 2017.

Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is steadily resuming its activities in four provinces - Herat, Kunduz, Kandahar and Nimroz. After more than 30 years of war, the humanitarian needs in Afghanistan are immense.

Following the earthquake of 14th August, HI has transferred more than 16 tonnes of equipment from its emergency response depot in Dubai to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
