In the wake of the devastating floods, Humanity & Inclusion is supporting survivors, particularly children, by providing urgent rehabilitation and mental health care.

Six days after the devastating floods in Nepal, the situation remains dire. Humanity & Inclusion is on the ground, working with survivors of the disaster to identify needs and provide an inclusive response.

On 26 August a flood of ice and mud devastated northern Nepal. HI is preparing a response to the emergency focusing on rehabilitation, mental health support and the distribution of essential supplies.

On 25 April 2015, a terrible earthquake struck Nepal. 10 years later, Humanity & Inclusion looks back at an extraordinary emergency response and a commitment that continues to this day.

Inclusive Futures has won a global award for its work on collaborating with organisations of people with disabilities. Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is part of the Inclusive Futures initiative, led by Sightsavers and funded by UK Aid, which is working to ensure no one is left behind.

In 2023, HI published a report highlighting the impact of climate change on people with disabilities in Nepal, one of the countries most exposed to the consequences of this phenomenon.

HI teams arrived in the worst-affected areas to assess needs and support local health services following the earthquake in Nepal on November 3rd.

Milan, aged 12, has autism. He lives with his very modest family in the south of Nepal. Thanks to HI's "Inclusive Futures" project, he is finally receiving the support he needs.

Prabin, 6, was born without the lower part of his right leg. HI met him 5 years ago when the family was referred to a rehabilitation centre in Biratnagar Nepal. Since then, he’s come on leaps and bounds.
